Stop by the Gallery between 6pm and 8pm to embellish a clay tile. A 4” square slab of red earthenware clay will be provided, along with textural components such as buttons and shells. Create your own textured tile using the materials provided, or you can bring material to make textures from home. These tiles will be fired and will be available for pick up in at the June First Friday. The event is free and open to the public. It is intended for adults, but school age children are welcome to participate. The CCAA Gallery is located at 205 Fifth Street in Calumet, and you can call 906 337 1252 for more information.
This was originally supposed to be the April First Friday, but it was moved to May because of inclement weather.
