The CCAA is a community based art organization, encouraging artistic expression and helping artists to market their products through a member operated Art Gallery and the Eagle Harbor Art Fair. CCAA is based in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula in the historic village of Calumet.

The 64th Annual Eagle Harbor Art Fair is coming soon!

Planning for the Art Fair is well underway. There are more than 70 artists registered for the upcoming Fair.

Classes, Classes! The Copper Country Associated Artists are holding classes that will be of interest to all emerging artists. (You do not need to be a member of the Copper Country Associated Artists to attend!) See the sections below that cover classes offered by Pam Hecht, Charlotte Haanela and Christine Porter. Wow! Two new workshops for you from the talented local artist Pamela Hecht!
Create beautiful moody landscapes while learning technique to paint on metal surfaces for truly unique works of art you’ll be proud to display or gift to friends and family. These are one of a kind workshops that will allow you to expand your painting skills beyond canvas or wood. You’ll never look at a metal surface the same way again!!
Pamela’s first class on July 21st, will feature a saw as your “canvas”, while her second workshop will use one of her trademark Upper Peninsula corrugated metal pieces that she is so well known for.

The first workshop featuring the saw is July 21st, 2025 from 6:30-8:30pm at the Copper Country Associated Artists Gallery in Calumet at our new location 117 5th Street right next door to Keweenaw Coffee Works. All supplies are included in your $35 class fee and you don’t need to be a member to enroll. Workshop is limited to 12 students, so register soon by texting Pam at 906-231-9258.
The second workshop featuring the metal Upper Peninsula shape is on July 23rd, 2025 will also be at the Copper Country Associated Artists Gallery from 6:30-8:30pm. All supplies are also included in your $30 class fee, and you don’t need to be a member to attend. This class is also limited to 12 students, so register soon to save your seat by texting Pamela at 906-231-9258.

Christine is offering three different courses that will delight and excite any stained glass enthusiast!
 
These classes are open to all adults. You do not need to be a member of the Copper Country Associated Artists to attend! The classes are intended for adults, but older minors could be included; discuss with instructor before signing up.
