The CCAA is a community based art organization, encouraging artistic expression and helping artists to market their products through a member operated Art Gallery and the Eagle Harbor Art Fair. CCAA is based in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula in the historic village of Calumet.
Planning for the 65th Annual Art Fair is already underway. Fifty six artists have pre-registered for the 2026 Art Fair. At this pace, we expect another record turnout next year.

EVENTS IN FEBRUARY

Classes, Classes, we have Classes! The Copper Country Associated Artists are holding classes that will be of interest to all emerging artists. (You do not need to be a member of the Copper Country Associated Artists to attend!) See the sections below that cover classes being offered at the CCAA Gallery.
----Classes Coming Up in February----
The first workshop…”Beginning Mosiacs” is a two part class that is being offered on Thursdays, Session 1 is February 12th and Session 2 is February 19th Both sessions run from 6-9pm. Plan to attend both Session 1 and 2 to complete this class.
In this wonderful workshop, students will create a beautiful mosaic glass mirror on a prepared 10″x10″ wood base with attached mirror. Lots of pattern ideas will be available for students to choose from or you may design your own! All supplies will be provided, including use of tools in your $75 class fee which is due at the beginning of the first session.
The second workshop offering is “Beginning Stained Glass-Make Your Own Tiffany Style Stained Glass Piece”. This class is also a two part class being offered on Wednesdays. Session 1 is February 11th and Session 2 is February 18th. Both sessions run from 1-4pm. Plan to attend both Session 1 and 2 to complete this class
In this workshop, students will create a 7″x7″ glass piece in one of 8 or more design options. You’ll learn to solder and will frame your design in copper, zinc or brass channel along with attaching a hanger for your piece.
Many colors of glass and patterns will be available to students, along with the use of all tools to create your stained glass piece. All supplies are included in the $75 class fee which is due at the beginning of the first class.
The third workshop offering is an Intermediate level class. This class is a six part class being offered on Wednesdays. Session 1 is April 1, 2026. The class then continues every Wednesday for six weeks and ends on May 6, 2026. All six sessions run from 1-4pm. Plan to attend all Session 1 through 6 to complete this class
In this workshop, there are three options available:
1. the Tiffany method or the traditional lead method will be employed to create a window piece.
2. a mosaic frame, tray, window piece or small tabletop will be created
3. Lead wrapping or foil method for small items like sunbathers, candle holders, night lights, boxes, etc.
