“There are always two people in every picture: the photographer and the viewer”
I am guided by these words of Ansel Adams when he said “There are always two people in every picture: the photographer and the viewer” and “Twelve significant photographs in any one year is a good crop.
I started taking photos in the early 1980’s while traveling abroad. When I retired in 2010, I began studying and practicing photography in earnest. Today my photographic interests include landscape, wildlife, bird, lighthouse, Northern Lights and portrait photography. I have attended various workshops and seminars including one sponsored by National Geographic magazine. I also enjoy participating in field trips with professional photographers in Michigan and Florida.
My wife, Linda, and I split our time between Eagle River, MI and
Naples, FL
